Gizmochina, the tech news site known for its fast coverage of new phones, tablets and gadgets, reported on the launch of the Single Flex Pro in May 2026. Its write-up focused on what makes this monitor different from the flat slabs that dominate the portable display category.
One screen, several shapes
Gizmochina described a 13.3-inch flexible AMOLED panel that can sit flat, slightly bent, or open like a book, and that rotates between landscape and portrait. The 1536 x 2048 resolution in a 3:4 ratio gives extra vertical room, which suits reading, coding and long documents.
The site also highlighted touch input, a single USB-C connection, and a folded size of roughly 6 x 9 inches at just over half an inch thick, for about 1.54 lbs. In other words, a second screen that slips into a bag much like a small tablet.
The trade-offs Gizmochina noted
The article stayed balanced. It pointed out that 300 nits of peak brightness works well indoors but is not meant for direct sunlight, and it framed the price as a premium aimed at professionals rather than casual buyers. Gizmochina also reported that a larger 17-inch model was in the works.
Those are fair points. The Single Flex Pro is built for people who want the smallest possible footprint in their bag and are willing to pay for a new form factor.
It is also worth noting what Gizmochina chose to emphasize: flexibility of use. Being able to switch between a flat second screen, an open-book reading view and a portrait document display from one device is the core promise of the product.
A new category takes shape
Foldable displays have reshaped phones. Coverage like this suggests the same idea is starting to matter for laptop users who need more screen without carrying more bulk.
